FRESH WATER TREATMENT PLANTS
Drinking water treatment plants are used to remove particles and organisms that lead to diseases and protect the public's welfare and supply pure drinkable water to the environment, people and living organisms.
WE AT Care4Aqua BELIEVE IN "Treat It Right"
Promising a healthier lifestyle for your household, commercial establishment, and industrial business through scientifically verified water purification standards.
12 Essential Fresh Water Treatment Sub-Categories
From primary debris separation and clarification to advanced ultrafiltration and nanofiltration membranes, discover our integrated engineering suite.
Pre-Treatment & Settling
Coagulation, Flocculation & Solids Removal
Primary pre-treatment sets the foundation for downstream membrane and ion exchange equipment. Effective solids settling reduces maintenance overhead and drastically increases overall system operating lifespan.
PRIMARY FILTRATION
Primary filtration is very essential for the step to remove the solid particles or gaseous fluid by the use of different technologies and equipment which allow water for the next step for the required filtration system. Selection of good primary filtration technology increases the life of post treatment equipment and lowers down maintenance for further treatment equipment.
CLARIFIERS
Clarifiers are generally used to remove solid particulates or suspended solids from liquid for clarification and (or) thickening. Concentrated impurities, discharged from the bottom of the tank are known as sludge, while the particles that float to the surface of the liquid are called scum. Moreover, the clear liquid collected is called clarified liquid, which can be treated further as per process requirements.
TUBE SETTLERS
Tube settlers use multiple tubular channels sloped at a designed angle and adjacent to each other, which combine to form an increased effective settling area. This provides for a particle settling depth that is significantly less than the settling depth of a conventional clarifier, reducing settling times while saving valuable built area.
Media & Adsorption Filtration
Turbidity, Sediment & Organics Removal
Granular bed filtration and catalytic carbon adsorption trap micro-suspended particles, eliminate chlorine, remove unpleasant odors/tastes, and capture VOCs for crystal clear clarified water.
MEDIA FILTERS
Media filtration is a type of filter process where as water passes through filtration media it removes solids from liquid. Complete Water Solutions media filters filter out numerous small particles, including sediment, iron, chlorine, and organic materials.
PRESSURE SAND FILTERS
The Pressure Sand Filter consists of multiple layers of sand with variety in size and specific gravity. Designed to remove turbidity and suspended particles in feed water with minimum pressure drop, custom designed for process requirements.
DUAL MEDIA FILTERS
A dual-media filter consists of a layer of anthracite coal above a layer of fine sand. The upper coal traps large floc, while fine sand grains in the lower layer trap smaller impurities. This in-depth filtration prevents surface blinding.
ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS
Carbon filters remove contaminants through adsorption. Contaminants are attracted to the carbon surface and held like a magnet. Ideal for removing chlorine, pesticides, THMs like chloroform, and VOCs from solvents and cleaners.
Ionic Softening & Demineralization
Resin-Based Ion Exchange & Softening
Advanced ionic exchange processes target dissolved minerals and hardness, ensuring water meets specific industrial or potable standards by swapping undesirable ions for harmless ones.
ION EXCHANGE
Ion exchange is a process in which ions of a given species are displaced from an insoluble exchange material by ions of a different species. This is widely used for demineralization and specific contaminant removal in high-purity water applications.
SOFTENERS
Water softening is the removal of calcium, magnesium, and certain other metal cations in hard water. The resulting soft water requires less soap for the same cleaning effort and extends the lifetime of plumbing and industrial boilers.
Membrane Purification
Molecular & Divalent Ion Separation
The final frontier of water purity, utilizing semi-permeable membranes to filter out everything from microscopic bacteria to dissolved salts and viruses.
MICRO FILTRATION (MF)
Microfiltration is a type of physical filtration process where a contaminated fluid is passed through a special pore-sized membrane to separate microorganisms and suspended particles from process liquid.
ULTRA FILTRATION (UF)
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a variety of membrane filtration in which forces like pressure or concentration gradients lead to a separation through a semipermeable membrane. Suspended solids and solutes of high molecular weight are retained.
NANO FILTRATION (NF) / RO
Nanofiltration is a membrane filtration-based method that uses nanometer-sized through-pores that pass through the membrane. NF membranes have pore sizes from 1-10 nanometers, smaller than those used in microfiltration and ultrafiltration.
